An end-of-life doula is a non-medical companion and guide who supports individuals and families during the final chapter of life. Much like birth doulas help families welcome a new life into the world, end-of-life doulas help people navigate the sacred and often complex transition of dying.

While medical teams focus on clinical care, an end-of-life doula focuses on the human experience of dying—the emotional, practical, spiritual, and relational needs that arise during this time.
