Mindfulness for the Moment sessions are 30-minute, practice-based, free community gatherings open to all, from beginners to experienced practitioners. Mindfulness for the Moment is an open group, so you can join at any time and come and go as needed. These worldwide sessions are informed by the scientifically validated Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) program, developed by Jon Kabat-Zinn at the University of Massachusetts Medical School's Center for Mindfulness.
The sessions will be conducted using a live video conferencing platform and are intended to support anyone interested in developing and/or sustaining a regular mindfulness meditation practice. Sessions will be facilitated by certified MBSR teacher Mark Dannenfelser, MA, LPC as well as other guest teachers.
